There is a temporary screen protector on the screen. The red letters are only printed on the protective film. It is recommended that you remove it before use. There is a free protective film on the screen. You can attach a film to protect the screen.

► How to turn on the monitor?
For the version without a built-in battery, the monitor will automatically turn on after plugging the USB Type-C cable into the power port.
For the version with a built-in battery, you only need to press the "Menu" button for about 3 seconds, and the display will turn on.

For the version without a built-in battery, you can simply get power from the device connected to XScreen. In addition, you can get power from a mobile power bank.

► Can I activate the touch screen function with my MacBook?
When the device is connected to all Apple products, XScreen does not support touch screen functions. Therefore, if you want to use the touch screen function with XScreen, you need to connect a device with Type-C display output.

► I have connected XScreen with my device through a Type-C connection cable, why there still showing 'No Signal'?
You should make sure that the Type-C connection port of the laptop supports video output. Some C-type connection ports only support data transmission or power supply. In this case, you should use an Multimedia Port cable for video output.

► Why the monitor cannot show anything or 'No Signal' when I connected it to my device?
It is recommended that you follow the steps below to solve the problem:
1. You need to make sure that your device supports our portable monitor
2. If you use the built-in battery version, make sure it does not drain the battery.
3. For the version without built-in battery, you need to make sure that the power supply is connected correctly. You should use a Type C cable or Micro-USB cable to connect to the power source.
4. Check whether it is connected to the correct connection port. There are 2 Type-C connection ports for different purposes.
-If the cable is used to transmit the display signal, the Type-C connection port near the Micro-USB port should be used for power supply.
-If the Type-C cable is used for power supply and display signal at the same time, it should be used near the connection port.
5. Make sure that each cable is connected correctly. It is recommended to use the cable provided in the package.
6. If the Apple product you are using (such as iPhone, MacBook Air) does not have a Type-C connection port, you should make sure to have an converter for displaying the signal. For the iPhone series with Type-C connection port, you still need an converter to display the signal.

No, you don't. There is built-in speakers in XScreen.

► When I touch the screen, there is no respond. How can I make the touch screen function work?
* XScreen cannot support touch screen function with ALL Apple Products.
There are two ways to activate the touch screen function of XScreen:
1. The touch screen function can be activated via a Type C connection (not a power port). If you connect the device to a data signal, you cannot use the touch screen function.
In addition, you need to check whether the USB Type-C port of your device supports data output. If the Type-C connection port does not support data output, you still need to use the cable to transmit the data signal.
2. If your laptop does not have a Type-C data output port, you can still activate the touch screen function of XScreen. First, you need to check whether your computer is using the Window 10 operating system. If so, you can connect your laptop to XScreen via a USB to Type-C cable. Please note that this USB to Type C cable is only used for data signals. You still need to connect XScreen to the power supply via a Type-C cable.

► I have connected my phone with a Type-C cable, but the screen cannot detect the signal.
Make sure to connect the correct Type-C connection port. There are 2 Type-C connection ports. The upper one is used for all functions (power, video display, touch screen functions, etc.), the lower one is only for power.

► How can I adjust the volume of the screen?
1. Press the "+" button and you will see the volume bar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Use the "+" or "-" button to adjust the volume.
3. After completion, long press the "-" button to exit.
Note: The volume cannot be adjusted when muted. You can also check whether the sound is muted from the audio settings. There should be a "mute" section in the audio settings. Enter the "Mute" setting, if you see the "On" side is displayed in white, it means that the screen sound is muted. Just select the "off" side to adjust the volume.

► Can I select the menu settings by touch screen?
Menu settings can only be selected through the three buttons in the upper left corner of XScreen.
"M" button: enter the menu and confirm the selection

► Why the LED indicator turns red?
The LED indicator turns red because there is only XScreen power supply but no data signal.
When the data signal and power supply are connected at the same time, the LED indicator will turn blue.

► I am getting static on my XScreen, how can I solve it?
First, please check the connection between the device and XScreen. Make sure that the correct cable is used for the connection and the connection is correct.
If there is no problem with the connection, you need to check the power supply of XScreen. When the power supply is unstable, static electricity will appear on the screen. This can easily happen when you use a Type C cable for power and data signals. Some devices (such as mobile phones and tablets) cannot generate stable power for XScreen. Therefore, you need to provide additional power for it.

► Can I remove the cover of XScreen?
Yes, you can. Simply remove the screws behind the cover to remove the leather cover from XScreen.

► Can screen mirroring be done on XScreen?
Yes, you can. Just use Type-C and other universal cables, and you can mirror your device screen to XScreen. There is a video to let you know how to connect your device to XScreen. Please see the detailed steps here.
If your device does not have Type-C and other universal ports, you can use an adapter to convert the plug.
(It is not recommended to convert the adapter to a C-type plug, because some C-type adapters only work when charging, but not in data output)

Yes, when connected to a laptop, XScreen includes an extended desktop mode (screen 1 and 2). If you want to apply the dual monitor function, you can set up dual monitors on your notebook.
If you are a Windows user, you can right-click on the desktop and go to display settings to set up the dual monitor function.
If you are a Macbook user, you can go to "System Preferences" in the Apple menu and press Displays. After that, click on the Arrange tab. Remember, if you don’t want to demonstrate a duplicate screen, don’t click "Mirror Display".

► Can iPhone or iPad be compatible with XScreen?
Since iPhone, iPad (other Apple devices) do not support Type-C. If you use a lightning adapter to convert the plug, the Apple device can connect to XScreen. Most Macbooks support Type-C plugs, so Macbooks can be directly connected to XScreen.
However, since most Apple devices do not support touch screen data output, XScreen can only use the screen display function, and XScreen cannot start the touch screen function.
